Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo is considering a move for Barcelona's out of favour striker David Villa. According to reports, the Spanish forward had an argument with star player Lionel Messi this week.
The 30-year-old forward is believed to be considering a move away from the Nou Camp, and has told his advisors that he would prefer a move to the Premier League.
With Chelsea currently short of options up front, with just Fernando Torres and Daniel Sturridge to choose from, manager Di Matteo is considering all of his options in the January transfer window and is believed to have earmarked David Villa as one option.
The Barca frontman still has a year and a half remaining on his current contract.
