French legend tells Lloris to quit Tottenham

French legend tells Lloris to quit Tottenham

12 November 2012 - 07:11

Former France international goalkeeper Gregory Coupet has told compatriot Hugo Lloris to consider leaving White Hart Lane, as he has failed to dislodge Brad Friedel as first choice shot stopper at Spurs.

  • Chelsea expected to sell striker after loan deal
  • Arsenal defender misses training ahead of Man Utd game

  • "If I were in (Lloris') place, I would leave. His situation is intolerable," Coupet told reporters.

"There are four 'keepers. I don't understand how things go in training. It is a terrible waste of time for him there."

Tottenham currently have one of the best array of goalkeeping ranks in the Premier League, with Huerelho Gomes, Brad Friedel, Carlo Cudicini and Hugo Lloris all to be called on.
