Liverpool ready David Alaba offer

12 November 2012 - 12:02

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers expects to have a busy January transfer window, and one player that has been linked with a shock move to Anfield is Bayern Munich's versatile midfielder David Alaba.

  • Chelsea to battle Leeds for Zion Suzuki?
  • Aston Villa set staggering price tag for Morgan Rogers
  • The Austrian international has been a revelation since forcing his way into Munich's first team just over a year ago, and the 20-year-old is now a regular at the Allianz Arena. However, the 5 foot 11 midfielder is keen to make a move to the Premier League and the interest of Liverpool is sure to appeal.

According to reports, Alaba has just under 18 months left on his current contract at Bayern, but is keen to extend for the time being. However, no offer has been received from the German club just yet.

Brendan Rodgers has been promised a huge transfer kitty for the January transfer window, and according to reports a very big chunk of that could be spent on Alaba.
