Wenger praises Swansea transfer deals

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has praised Swansea manager Michael Laudrup ahead of this weekend's Premier League clash at the Emirates. Wenger praised Laudrup's skill in the transfer market.

  • Swansea have found brought in the likes of Michu since the departure of Brendan Rodgers, and have proved to be a massive success.<br />

    Wenger said: "Swansea have bought intelligently and of course that gives them the basis they had last year, and the addition of the players they have brought in. It makes them dangerous.<br />

    <div class="article">“Of course Brendan Rodgers has made the basis of what the club is today and Michael Laudrup has added some players he knew from Spain who are very good additions.</div><br />

    “They have Michu, Pablo Hernandez, (Jonathan) de Guzman, these players and keeping Britton, Rangel and the players at the back.<br />

    “Swansea are a dangerous side throughout, and having a good season. They are a complete unit, very creative, very technical and very mobile.”
