West Bromwich Albion could make a surprise move for French youth international striker Ishak Belfodil at the end of the season. WBA currently have Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku on loan, but he is expected to return to the Blues at the end of the season.
West Brom will then need to turn their attentions elsewhere, and the Algerian born striker appears to be one of the options. The 6 foot 3 forward, aged 20, is currently playing in Serie A with Italian side Parma. He completed a move to Italy from Lyon last year and has since forced his way into the first team.
At Parma, Belfodil has gone on to prove himself an important member of the first team, but West Brom are ready to spend big money to lure the impressive young forward to the Premier LEague.
Parma could demand a fee of around 6 million Euros, which is more than double the 2.5 million Euros the Italian club paid for the player.
