Newcastle star Ben Arfa eyes PSG move

15 January 2013 - 07:19

Newcastle fan favourite Hatem Ben-Arfa has put his future in doubt, after admitting that Paris St Germain would be a dream move for him. The French wizard has been a revelation since his move to Tyneside, despite having numerous injury problems at the club.

  • Chelsea midfielder looking forward to London derby vs Spurs
  • Arsenal in the front row to sign Dutch striker

  • Ben Arfa is apparently eager for a return to his homeland at some point, despite an impressive run at Newcastle United. The Toon Army will be keen to keep hold of the player, as they already have lost Demba Ba to Chelsea, whilst team captain Fabricio Coloccini has also hinted that he would like to return to Argentina.

"I am under contract with Newcastle and I'm fine," Ben Arfa said.

"First, I must save my club. I only think of that. Help my team and my coach, with whom I get along great. We really want to fight for him.

"The fans are great, too. Once we have saved the club, you never know. To sign for PSG would be a childhood dream. If there is a proposal, I will study it with interest. If there is a proposal. The 'if' is important."
