Arsenal to spend big in transfer window

17 January 2013 - 06:45

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has for the first team admitted that he is likely to spend big in the January transfer window, after revealing that the financial constraints imposed on him have been eased.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Man Utd serious about signing Rafael Leao
  • Wenger said, "My plan is to keep all of the players we have and then to add maybe, if possible, two new players to the squad. We will spend big (again) because we had restricted finances because we had built the stadium and had to pay that back."<br />

The Gunners have been linked with a sensational move for Edinson Cavani overnight.
