Liverpool's manager Brendan Rodgers has told reporters that the club's latest flurry of transfer activity will continue into the coming week - as the transfer deadline nears ever closer. The Reds have been linked with a move for Inter Milan starlet Philippe Coutinho.
So far this year, the Reds have already signed Daniel Sturridge from Chelsea and the forward has been a revelation in his first few weeks at the club.
But Liverpool are nowhere near done in their search for new talent across Europe, and now look set to secure a move for at least two more players.
Liverpool's manager said: "We hope to do some business between now and the end of the month," Rodgers said. "The owners have been brilliant and supporting.
"We know we still need one or two additions more. The club is doing everything it possibly can to assist me in that. If we can, great. If not, we'll have to review it again in the summer.
"We've got a young player who'll go out on loan to get some experience but apart from that I don't expect people [to go]. One or two, maybe, to come in."
