Arsenals Walcott demands better

Arsenal's Walcott demands better

29 January 2013 - 07:37

Arsenal forward Theo Walcott has told the club's official website that the Gunners can no longer afford to make any mistakes for the remainder of the season. A poor Premier League showing this year sees the Gunners off the pace in the race for the Champions League.

 • Chelsea plan shock swoop for Sporting CP star
 • Chelsea have clear stance on signing Victor Osimhen
 • Theo told a reporter that the club must ensure they are successful for the remainder of the season. So far this year, many slip ups have cost the Gunners a chance of league success.
"Momentum in growing for us," Walcott told the Arsenal website. "It has been up and down, there have been patches of brilliance, but we need to do it in every game. We need to believe how good we are.
"We have tended to start slowly and then wake up and that's something we need to get out of our system. It's about being concentrated.
"The Liverpool game will be intense. Both teams are fighting for that fourth position and are very close together, but we are strong enough to beat them."
