Shanghai Shenhua contest Drogba deal

Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua have made a formal complaint to FIFA regarding Didier Drogba's move to Galatasaray. The former Chelsea man signed an 18 month deal with the Turkish side this week.

"The club is deeply shocked. Drogba is still a Shanghai Shenhua Football Club member as the contract between the two parties is still within its period of validity," read a statement.<br /><br />"The Shanghai Shenhua Football Club is ready to gather evidence and submit the findings to FIFA in order to protect its interests."
