Shanghai Shenhua contest Drogba deal

Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua have made a formal complaint to FIFA regarding Didier Drogba's move to Galatasaray. The former Chelsea man signed an 18 month deal with the Turkish side this week.

  • "The club is deeply shocked. Drogba is still a Shanghai Shenhua Football Club member as the contract between the two parties is still within its period of validity," read a statement.



    "The Shanghai Shenhua Football Club is ready to gather evidence and submit the findings to FIFA in order to protect its interests."
