Manchester City are set to make a bid for Schalke 04 defender Kyriakos Papadopoulos. The Greek international defender is very highly rated and many consider the centre back to be one of the hottest prospects in European football.
Man City look set to part company with Kolo Toure and Joleon Lescott this summer, and Papadopoulos will be brought in as a replacement. Meanwhile, the German side Schalke have quoted the Citizens 19 million Euros for the player.
AC Milan are also monitoring the bright young defensive prospect, but Roberto Mancini is believed to be in pole position to sign the player. Mancini wants Papadopoulos to partner Vincent Kompany in his defence next year.
