Arsenal boss considers Giroud stop gap

21 April 2013 - 07:19

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger admis that he has to make a decision soon with regards to the impending suspension of French striker Oliver Giroud. The Gunners will be missing the striker for three games.

  • Chido Obi to leave Man Utd on loan
  • Chelsea star suffers hamstring injury on international duty
  • Arsenal's manager admitted that Giroud's challenge was nasty. He now turns his attentions to choosing a solution up front in light of the red card.

"It looked like it [deserved a red card], yes," Wenger told Sky Sports.

"I spoke with Giroud just now and he said he slipped when he went for the ball and I don't complain about [the decision].

"We have to find a solution up front now for the final games but that can happen and we have to deal with that."
