Asmir Begovic ignores Arsenal move talk

Asmir Begovic ignores Arsenal move talk

23 April 2013 - 05:35

Stoke City goalkeeper Asmir Begovic is trying not to listen to talk of a potential transfer switch to Arsenal at the end of the year. Begovic has already made 11 clean sheets in the Premier League this year.

  • Chelsea join Liverpool & Man Utd in race to sign 26yo
  • Barcelona identify Arsenal midfielder as key transfer target

  • Arsenal are amongst the teams interested in the talented shot stopper.

“Of course I’m happy, how couldn’t I be?," said Begovic.

“When you play so many games in one of the best leagues in the world that gives you a great feeling.

“This moment motivates me even more and I want to reach many more milestones.

“My goal is to progress from year to year and the more games I play the better I feel.

“The win against QPR was our first in two and a half months and we feel great. But it is only one win so we have to continue like this to ensure our survival in the Premier League.

“We still have a lot of difficult games ahead and we have to continue playing well. Nothing is over yet.

“My 11th clean sheet? I feel great but I’m sure that I can always do better and I’m still learning.

“The most important thing is the result for the club and when you win, everything looks better.”
