Wigan midfielder James McCarthy remains focused on the task in hand at the Latics, surviving relegation. The player had been linked with a move away, with the likes of Sunderland and Chelsea all reportedly interested in his services.
The talented centre midfielder has been in outstanding form for Wigan this year despite the club having a dismal campaign.<br />
"I don't want to talk about speculation," McCarthy quipped.<br /><br />"The most important thing is to keep Wigan in the Premier League and that is all I am concentrating on.<br /><br />"I am happy at Wigan, it is a great club to be at."
