John Obi Mikel labels Chelsea "crazy club"

10 May 2013 - 04:39

Nigeria and Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel has called his club "crazy" after the Blues insisted that they would be looking for a new manager again at the end of the year. Rafa Benitez is set to stand down as interim manager.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Arsenal handed huge boost ahead of Bournemouth clash

  • Chelsea are currently in the final of the Europa League, and on course to earn a top four spot in the Premier League.

"The club is crazy, it is," Mikel said. "But we have to keep doing our job. We're players. The board, the owners, make the decision and we have to stick by whoever comes in. I don't know what's happening. It seems another manager is going to come in.

"If we are the in the same final next year, I won't be happy. The aim of this squad is to play in the Champions League."
