Bayern Munich are the favourites to sign Robert Lewandowski from Borussia Dortmund once the Polish striker's contract expires at the end of the year.
Manchester United are long term admirers of Lewandowski, but have so far failed to agree a fee with Dortmund for his signing. With the player's contract to expire in the summer months, it's understood that Bayern Munich are now in pole position to secure his signature.
Lewandowski has impressed many this year in all tournaments, particularly in the Champions League where he grabbed four goals in one game against Real Madrid.
