15 May 2013 - 07:07

Tottenham manager Andre Villa-Boas wants to bring Matej Vydra to White Hart Lane in the summer. The player has been on loan at Watford this year and is currently under contract with Udinese.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Arsenal handed huge boost ahead of Bournemouth clash

  • Vydra has impressed in his first season in England, scoring 20 goals in 41 games at Vicarage Road for Watford.

The full Czech Republic international is one of the hottest properties in his homeland, and his goals have helped Gianfranco Zola's men to the final of the Championship Playoff final this weekend.

Tottenham are eager to find a backup striker as Villas-Boas is currently looking to strengthen their strike force of Emmanuel Adebayor and Jermain Defoe.
