19 May 2013 - 03:25

David Moyes has told Everton that he will help the board find a replacement for him. Moyes will move to Manchester United once this season ends tomorrow. Roberto Martinez is the current favourite to move to Goodison Park.

 • Chelsea make first move to sign Xabi Alonso
 • A lot of people have wondered whether or not Moyes will have a say in the future manager search for the Toffees, and Moyes admitted that if Bill Kenwright asks him he will be willing to assist.
"I would always recommend the people around me," Moyes said. "A lot of them know the workings of the building, how we move things forward and what restraints the club work under.
"So it's easy for them to deal with that. But if the chairman asks - we speak a couple of times on the phone - and if he's got anything to say, or wants me to help him, then I'll do so.
