Arsenal keen on Leon Goretzka move

According to reports in Germany, Arsenal have been linked with VfL Bochum midfielder Leon Goretzka. The 18-year-old is one of the brightest prospects in his homeland.

Goretzka is comfortable playing as a holding midfielder or attacking central midfielder, and since his promotion into Bochum's first team last year he has continued to impress.<br />

The Gunners are on the verge of sealing a move for Yaya Sanogo, who will agree a transfer next week; so it appears that Arsenal are planning for the future with the nature of their current transfer targets.<br />

Goretzka has already appeared for Germany's under-19 side and a number of Germany's best known pundits have praised the youngster for his recent performances.
