Coaching staff reshuffle at Man Utd

Manchester United manager David Moyes has announced that Mike Phelan - Sir Alex Ferguson's assistant - has left the club with immediate effect. Goalkeeper coach Eric Steele will also be leaving.

  • Moyes is in the middle of preparing a team of coaches he believes will help him retain the Premier League title next season.<br />

    Moyes said: "I will be looking to appoint my own members of coaching staff at some point in the future."<br />

    Phil Neville is a surprise name to have been linked with a return to Man Utd, whilst some have also linked Gary Pallister and Brian Mcclair with a return to Old Trafford.
