Bayer Leverkusen have completed a loan move for Belgian youth international Kevin de Bruyne. The German side will take the attacking midfielder for the whole of next season, despite last minute interest from Borussia Dortmund.
De Bruyne is one of the hottest properties in European football and has long been expected to eventually be an important part of Chelsea's first team.<br />
“Maybe we have come too close to Borussia Dortmund,” said Chief Executive of Leverkusen, Wolfgang Holzhauser. “Maybe Dortmund wants to keep us down as a competitor.”
