West Ham offer for Negredo turned down

05 June 2013 - 05:31

West Ham have had an offer for Alvaro Negredo turned down by Sevilla. West Ham offered a reported 14 million Euros for the striker who has been linked with a host of English teams.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • Tha Hammers were also keen to sign Andy Carroll, but it appears their efforts to secure the signing of the Liverpool striker have so far failed.

"West Ham offered 17m (euros) with more in incentives but we do not value the offer and the player refused,"said Sevilla president Jose Maria del Nido.

"He has four years left on his contract. He is at home here. He has scored a lot of goals and delighted us with his football."
