Both of Liverpool's first choice centre backs Daniel Agger and Martin Skrtel have been linked with moves away from Anfield, but the Reds are hopeful that a new contract can be agreed with the 28-year-old defender to fend off interest.<br />

It has been reported that Monaco are ready to offer 15 million Euros to sign the defender.
