Schurrles move to Chelsea may collapse

Schurrle's move to Chelsea may collapse

05 June 2013 - 13:10

Bayer Leverkusen forward Andre Schurrle's proposed move to Chelsea is on the fringe of a collapse, after German press reported that the striker's proposed swap deal with Kevin de Bruyne has frustrated the Blues.

  • Jose Mourinho has just been installed as the Blues' new manager, and according to many reports he is not convinced of Schurrle's abilities just yet.

Even considering that, it's also understood that Mourinho is growing increasingly frustrated with Kevin De Bruyne's potential swap deal move to Leverkusen on the fringe of collapse, whilst the Portuguese manager would also like to appraise De Bruyne's abilities himself in pre-season.

At this stage, a deal that will see Schurrle end up at Chelsea next year is looking increasingly unlikely.
