Norwich chasing Jonjo Shelvey

Norwich City have asked Liverpool whether or not they would like to sell midfielder Jonjo Shelvey. The central midfielder is highly rated at Anfield but Brendan Rodgers is believed to be ready to listen to offers.

The midfielder played in 20 league games for Liverpool last year and proved to be an important member of the Liverpool squad, but the arrival of Philippe Coutinho reduced Shelvey's chances in the first team.<br />

Last year, Shelvey forced his way into the England international setup, and is believed to be favouring a move to Norwich so he can be closer to his home in Essex.
