Liverpool have moved a step closer to agreeing a deal for yet another Spanish striker. Sevilla forward Luis Alberto has reportedly been told he is free to discuss terms with the English side. Iago Aspas is another player expected to join the Reds this summer.
Luis Alberto, a former Barcelona youth player, joined Sevilla back in 2011 scoring 5 goals in 7 games for the Spanish side.
Last season the forward was sent on loan to Barcelona B, where he scored 26 goals in 35 games.
Liverpool's manager Brendan Rodgers is eager to ensure the player will be wearing a red shirt in time for the new season as he discusses personal terms with the player's representatives.
