Roberto Soldado open to Premier League move

16 June 2013 - 13:44

Valencia striker Roberto Soldado has opened the door on a move to England, after admitting that some of his team mates have recommended the Premier League to him. Tottenham are the favourites to sign the Spanish striker.

  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town

  • "I know that some of my Spain team-mates have left La Liga and done very well. The Premier League is very attractive," said Soldado.

The 28-year-old striker has been linked with a move to England for over 3 years but has so far decided to stay with Valencia. The former Real Madrid forward rediscovered his best form last year as he grabbed 24 goals in 35 games in La Liga.

Tottenham have already made an enquiry for the player to Valencia a year ago and could revisit a transfer move if Jermain Defoe leaves White Hart Lane.
