Iago Aspas' move to Liverpool stalls

18 June 2013 - 06:07

Celta Vigo's move for striker Iago Aspas has reportedly stalled. According to reports, Swansea City have made an improved offer for the Spanish striker and there has also been further indication that Liverpool have turned their attentions elsewhere.

  • Chelsea plan shock swoop for Sporting CP star
  • Chelsea have clear stance on signing Victor Osimhen
  • With Liverpool ready to splash a reported 28 million Euros on Shakhtar Donetsk's attacking midfielder Mkhitaryan, Liverpool's supposed interest in the striker has cooled even though the 10 million Euro deal had been agreed. Aspas has been at Anfield for a medical this week.<br />

Another report also suggests that Swansea City - who have been linked with Aspas for over a month - have improved their initial offer for the player and are ready to offer more money to the forward.
