Alvaro Morata makes his intentions clear over staying with his present club, the Real Madrid. He also hopes to be joined by Isco and Thiago Alcantara at the Bernabeu next season.

  • Morata has been spectacular lately, the most recent feat he achieved being the Golden Boot that he deserved well after having scored four goals at the European U21 Championship. With his performance Morata assured his team – Spain – the title.

With chances of Luis Suarez switching to Real Madrid from Liverpool, it was being speculated that the 20-year-old may seek an early exit to move away from Bernabeu. But his recent performance at the championship has motivated him to leave a mark in the domestic league once the La Liga resumes.

Alvaro Morata told Cadena SER: “I called the president and he told me that I will stay at Real Madrid next season. He is very happy with me.”

He is also optimistic about his Under-21 teammates Isco and Alcantara joining him at Bernabeu from their respective clubs at Malaga and Barcelona.

"I am trying to convince Isco to come. It seems Thiago has received bids, and they are enough to make him consider leaving (Barca)."
