Florentino Perez To Negotiate With Tottenham

20 June 2013 - 13:56

Real Madrid’s president Florentino Perez seems adamant in his pursuit of Tottenham striker Gareth Bale. Perez has jetted to London in order to negotiate Bale’s transfer with the club.

  • Chelsea midfielder wants to play in Olympic games
  • Arsenal favourites to sign French winger ahead of Chelsea

  • Even though Florentino insists the trip is purely to do with his personal interests, it seems apparent that the president will try and set up talks with Tottenham. Real are willing to pay up to 80million pounds for Bale.

Despite all the keenness shown by Perez to land the striker on his side, the Spurs have already made it clear that the star striker is not for sale. Moreover they also intend to get his signs on a contract renewal. The White Hart Lane club would hope, with the appointment of new technical director Franco Baldini, that they could bring in more elite players to their side to play alongside the 23 year old.

Real Madrid have also set their sight upon Malaga midfielder Isco and PSG’s manager Carlo Ancelloti as their main targets for this summer. Madrid will have to face a bidding war from Manchester City for Isco, although Zidane has tried to convince the midfielder’s father by assuring regular first-team opportunities to his son.
