Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes is considering the next step of his career, and admitted to reporters that a move to China or to the MLS would appeal at this stage. Monaco were linked with a move for the Spanish goalkeeper.
In a very open interview with reporters, the Barcelona number 1 admitted that he has one year left on his contract and so he has yet to think too much about his future. Reports indicate that Liverpool will be selling Pepe Reina to Barcelona this month as a replacement for Valdes.
"I do not know here, I have a year to think about it," Valdes said.
"I will not stay in Spain, but I do not mind where, when the moment comes I will decide. I have time. It could be Italy, Russia, Germany, China, or crossing the pond [to the USA]. Anyone who knows me knows I hate talking about money. I have never decided anything in my life for money."
