Liverpool monitoring Gerard Deulofeu

Liverpool have been tracking Gerard Deulofeu, the winger who is currently playing for Barcelona's B team. Having signed Luis Alberto from Sevilla, who spent last year on loan at Barcelona B as well - the club have a lot of knowledge about Deulofeu's abilities.

Deulofeu is able to play in midfield or attack, but in Barcelona's B team he has been regularly deployed as an attacking midfielder. He also enjoyed a call up to the Barcelona A team in recent months, when he replaced Cesc Fabregas against Mallorca in October 2012.<br />

Liverpool have offered 3.9 million Euros to Barcelona for Deulofeu's signature.
