Hamburg to sign Johan Djourou from Arsenal

Bundesliga side Hamburg will complete a loan move to sign Swiss international defender Johan Djourou. The centre back will join the club on loan until the end of the season.

A move to Hamburg will beat off the interest of Hannover 96, who signed the defender on loan last season.<br />

&ldquo;I am sure the transfer will go through&rdquo; Hamburg's sporting director Oliver Kreuzer confirmed yesterday.&nbsp;&ldquo;We will definitely know it by Friday.&rdquo;<br />

Djourou has been told he has no future at the Emirates by manager Arsene Wenger.
