Newcastle waiting for Cabaye offer from PSG

Newcastle's new director of football Joe Kinnear is bracing himself for a mega money offer from French champions Paris St Germain for midfielder Yohan Cabaye. The impressive playmaker has been at the top of the French club's shortlist.

Cabaye is believed to be eager to return to his homeland as Newcastle are currently in talks with his agents regarding a fresh deal at St James' Park. Newcastle will not sell on the cheap though, with a reported 20 million Euro price tag on the player.<br />

Since arriving at Newcastle for &pound;4m two years ago, Cabaye has been one of Newcastle's top performers and most consistent players in the league. The new PSG coach Laurent Blanc is a huge fan of the midfielder and is hopeful a deal can be wrapped up shortly.<br />

Recently the midfielder told reporters: "For the moment I'm at Newcastle. But you never know what happens in football &ndash; I let my agents work for me."&nbsp;
