It is being strongly reported in Germany that Borussia Dortmund have emerged as new favourites to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The reports suggest that the club is inching closer to agreeing a deal with the star striker.
A host of European clubs have shown their interest in the Gabon international. Newcastle were one club who have been persistently displaying their eagerness to lure Aubameyang to their side.<br />
The 24-year-old, however, has strongly been linked with a move to German outfit and Champions League finalists Dortmund. Reports emanating in Germany suggest that the talks between the 24-year-old and the club have reached advanced stages and a deal could be struck soon.<br />
It also appears that the German club are prepared to meet the St Etienne's asking price for the in-demand striker.<br />
These reports are sure to cause some disturbance in the Alan Pardew led Newcastle management as the 24-year-old has long been a top priority for them.
