Dortmund Favourites For Aubameyang

It is being strongly reported in Germany that Borussia Dortmund have emerged as new favourites to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The reports suggest that the club is inching closer to agreeing a deal with the star striker.

A host of European clubs have shown their interest in the Gabon international. Newcastle were one club who have been persistently displaying their eagerness to lure Aubameyang to their side.


The 24-year-old, however, has strongly been linked with a move to German outfit and Champions League finalists Dortmund. Reports emanating in Germany suggest that the talks between the 24-year-old and the club have reached advanced stages and a deal could be struck soon.


It also appears that the German club are prepared to meet the St Etienne's asking price for the in-demand striker.


These reports are sure to cause some disturbance in the Alan Pardew led Newcastle management as the 24-year-old has long been a top priority for them.
