QPR to make a move for Scott Parker

04 July 2013 - 13:53

The Veteran English midfielder is looking set for a reunion with his former manager Harry Redknapp .QPR are preparing an ambitious move for Tottenham midfielder Scott Parker according to reports in England.

  • Arsenal linked with new shotstopper as backup to Raya
  • Juventus and Roma to battle for 20yo Arsenal star

  • The midfielder has been informed that he will be allowed to move away from White Hart Lane this summer as the North London club look to make room for their summer signings in their squad.

Spurs captured Lewis Holtby's signature from Bundesliga side Schalke 04 during the January winter transfer window and are set to add more options to their midfield yet again after completing a deal for Corinthians Brazian attacking midfielder Paulinho.

Tottenham are now willing to allow Parker to leave should a club meet their £2m valuation of him.

The 32-year-old England International still has every chance of making it into the England squad for the 2014 World Cup finals in Brazil but knows he will do himself no favours if he starts playing for a club in the Npower Championship.

Parker will be waiting to see if another club comes in for his signature, with Fulham looking as a likely destination as he is keen to remain in the capital.
