Monaco Capture Jeremy Toulalan

French powerhouse, Monaco, have successfully completed the signing of France international Jeremy Toulalan from Malaga. Toulalan was strongly linked with other clubs like Arsenal, Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid.

  • The highly rated midfielder has agreed on a two year deal with Monaco with the option of a further year on top, the Ligue 1 club have announced on their website.



    It is expected that Monaco will present Toulalan on Monday. The 29 year old will join the big-spending club along with others like Radamel Falcao, Ricardo Carvalho and Joao Moutinho as the new arrivals.



    Toulalan moved to Malaga from Lyon in 2011 and played 57 matches for the Primera Division outfit. Also, he has been capped 36 times for France.



    In his talks with the club website, Monaco sporting director,Vadim Vasilyev, hoped the midfielder to be a valuable addition to the squad.



    "We are happy with the signature of Jeremy. His skills, his European and international experience, will be an important asset for our team this season."
