Arsenal Target Luke Shaw To Sign A Five Year Deal With Southampton

Arsenal target Luke Shaw is set to sign a five year deal with Southampton next week when he turns 18. Shaw has interested the Premier League clubs like Manchester United and Tottenham but it seems now that they will have to wait for a few seasons before attempting to sign him again.

The 17-year-old is one of the highest rated youngsters in England and Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was keen on landing him. He has been a top acquisition target for Wenger since a long time but the left-back has reportedly snubbed his interest to say with the Saints.<br />

Shaw made 22 Premier League starts for the Saints last season and has been an important player for them. He is expected to sign the new contract after he turns 18 on 12 July.<br />

The new contract will bind the player with the Saints until the summer of 2018. He has agreed on a &pound;25,000-a-week deal with Southampton.
