Lyon's coveted midfielder Maxime Gonalons has officially ruled out a move to Arsenal. The French player had been linked with a move to Arsene Wenger's side but has instead decided to stay put.
Napoli were also amongst the teams interested in the 24-year-old, but he looks set to stay at Lyon for the time being at least.
"Things are clear," Gonalons told RMC. "I'm going to stay at Lyon next season because I still have things to learn and things to prove.
"I want to win with Lyon. I have been approached this summer and it's always good to know that you're been followed by great clubs."
