Bayern Munich look set to win the race for highly rated midfielder Thiago. The talented Spanish under-21 international looks set to join the German side instead of Manchester United, despite the Premier League club agreeing terms with Thiago's team.
According to reports in Spain, Barcelona are set to accept a deal from the Bavarian side as their manager Pep Guardiola uses his obvious influence at the Nou Camp to seal a deal for the midfielder.
The treble winning side Bayern have given new manager Pep Guardiola a large transfer budget of around 50 million Euros to spend on new players.
