Maloney previous had an 18 month stint at Villa Park which was sandwiched between two spells at Celtic and Villa boss Lambert seems willing to bring in the talented wide-man to boost his side's attack force.<br /><br />Lambert has seen Christian Benteke make a formal transfer request , but he would be more than eager to keep hold of his Belgian star as he tries to pair him with Maloney in the attack.
