Jimmy Briand turns down Hull City transfer

Despite having one year remaining on his Lyon contract, in demand striker Jimmy Briand has no plans to quit the French side for a move to Premier League newcomers Hull City.

  • Steve Bruce's side are busy trying to recruit a new striker for the upcoming campaign and French forward Briand appears to be top target.



    The 27-year-old is highly rated in France and a number of English teams have also expressed an interest in the player.



    With just 12 months remaining on his contract, Lyon were hoping to sell the player for around 5 million Euros, however the player has indeed rejected a move to Hull.
