Hamburg are ready to table an offer for Everton striker Nikica Jelavic. It is understood that the German side want to make former Rangers striker Jelavic their marquee signing of the summer transfer window.

Everton are planning to keep the Croatia international striker but, according to a comment from Hamburg's director of football Oliver Kreuzer, Jelavic fits the bill perfectly for th German side.<br />

&ldquo;Jelavic would be exactly the right player for us. He is a really dangerous striker,&rdquo; Kreuzer said. &ldquo;But we have to scrutinise whether it is financially possible.&rdquo;
