Liverpool to sign Cissokho on loan from Valencia

Liverpool are hopeful that a deal can be agreed with Valencia for defender Aly Cissokho. The left back is being brought in as top priority and will spend a season on loan at the Anfield club.

According to several reports, Cissokho will join the Anfield club on a season long loan deal worth around 1 million Euros to Valencia.<br />

The Spanish side have been busy trying to offload some of the players who are no longer an important part of the club's plans. Liverpool on the other hand are desperate to find a new left back and recently failed to land Ryan Bertrand from Chelsea.<br />

The deal will see the player move to Anfield on a season long loan which could then turn to a permanent deal.
