Fulham monitoring Liam Ridgewell

Fulham monitoring Liam Ridgewell

23 July 2013 - 06:34

Fulham want to sign West Bromwich Albion defender Liam Ridgewell. The defender has just 12 months left on his current contract at the Hawthorns.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • With a short length remaining on his contract, West Brom's manager Steve Clarke is ready to let the player leave, even to a rival club.

Fulham manager Martin Jol wants to bolster his defence ahead of the new season and has decided Ridgewell is indeed the best player for the job.

The England under-21 international could make a move for a nominal fee.
