Fulham monitoring Liam Ridgewell

Fulham want to sign West Bromwich Albion defender Liam Ridgewell. The defender has just 12 months left on his current contract at the Hawthorns.

With a short length remaining on his contract, West Brom's manager Steve Clarke is ready to let the player leave, even to a rival club.


Fulham manager Martin Jol wants to bolster his defence ahead of the new season and has decided Ridgewell is indeed the best player for the job.
