Toulouse midfielder Etienne Capoue is a shock target for Premier League newcomers Cardiff City. The player, who has recently attracted the interest of the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Man City, is now a target for the Welsh side.
Having missed out on Victor Wanyama, who joined Southampton, Cardiff City are hopeful that they can agree a deal for the defensive midfielder from Toulouse. The 25-year-old has played for the French side since 2005 and is regularly linked with a move away. <br />
The full French international is also rumoured to have been approached by Italian giants Roma, but a deal has yet to materialise. It is understood that Capoue has told his agent that he plans to quit his current club this summer.
