Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla has told reporters that he is happy in London and has no plans to quit Arsene Wenger's side. The Spaniard had been linked with a return to his homeland and move to Atletico Madrid.
The player, who has been resting after a busy schedule for Spain in the Confederations Cup, was Arsenal's player of the season last year and last week had been linked with a move to Atletico. The midfielder has rejected talk of a move away.
"Much has been made the subject of Atletico Madrid, but I am very good in London," Cazorla said. "I have a contract with Arsenal and I start training on Monday.
"We'll see when I come back to La Liga - it is very difficult right now."
