Liverpool are in the race to sign Bayer Leverkusen striker Stefan Kiessling, but only if they are to sell Luis Suarez. Arsenal have been linked with a move for the Uruguayan in recent weeks and Kiessling is considered the best possible replacement.
The 29-year-old has only recently signed a new deal at Leverkusen but there still remains some question marks over his long term future at the German side. With West Ham and Liverpool both gunning for the player's signature, it appears that his future could well be in the Premier League.<br />
It is understood that Kiessling would be allowed to leave for around £14 million.
